Based on Ferruccio's plans the family third-generation specialist for wooden boats, Claudio Pedrazzini,
makes runabouts like the Capri Super Deluxe in keeping with the company's traditions. Much time and work is
needed before a one-off boat like this slides into the water for the first time.

C. Pedrazzini
Yacht and boatmakers
In 1914, the Italian engineer Augusto Pedrazzini (see photo above) founded a small company to make fishing and rowing boats; for experts and enthusiasts alike the following ten decades have become known as the "Era of Pedrazzini Boat Building".
On the shores of Lake Zurich Augusto Pedrazzini found a suitable spot to follow his calling, which he did with great
passion and pioneering sprit: cleverly constructed boats, from rowing boats to sailing yachts, all bearing his unmistakable
signature: costly woods and the very highest level of craftsmanship down to the smallest detail.
After completing his degree in nautical science and design, Augusto's eldest son, Ferruccio, continued the company with
the same dedication and passion. He developed motorised sports boats, called "runabouts", like the Capri Super Deluxe
(see picture at right top).

It can take decades until mahogany has matured to the right consistency for boat building. And it takes a further 6 months
of super-precise craftsmanship before the Super Capri meets the company's exacting standards: artistic craftsmanship
using the best possible materials.

Mahogany doesn't get much more elegant in water than this. You can only appreciate the sheer value, timelessness and perfection in
a Monte Carlo Special - at 10.3 metres the longest boat made by Pedrazzini - when you see one of these sleek crafts
in true life. The v-shaped hull and the deck are made of pure mahogany.

Hand-made fittings of salt-water-resistant, non-rusting special cast bronze emphasise the classic, elegant line. The bathing platform
has fine teak grating and the dashboard is made of costly burl wood. The convertible top disappears quickly and discreetly
thanks to its clever design. The 4,000 working hours it takes to make a Pedrazzini runabout leaves time to incorporate
luxurious individual details and special customer wishes.
