No other suite in the world is so frequently renovated as the Royal Suite. Long before the notorious Rolling Stones appeared
on the scene, Salvador Dali was an exceptionally active guest. His artistic outpourings had to be removed from wallpaper
and furniture at regular intervals.

In particularly hopeless cases the management simply elected to refurnish the entire suite.
The antique dealers of Paris were especially enamoured of Dali's diligence and that of his four-legged companion,
an ocelot, which was fond of sharpening its claws on the upholstery.
