enlarge Stefan Fink lovingly works African savannah wood - grenadille - drills it, sands it and bathes it in oil to shape these tactile fountain pens that lie in the hand so flatteringly. Each is unique.
Stefan Fink

Wood is the love of his life (second only to his wife, Annabelle). But where's the love affair that always runs smoothly? "Fine woods are like divas", states the creative woodworker and designer Stefan Fink. They like to be kept warm, dry and they need lots of attention. It takes three years for a lump of wood to turn into a fountain pen, and a snakewood pen takes half a year longer.

Please also take a look at our Online-Shop and find some very exclusive accessories and distinctive works of table art.

enlarge The fountain pens made of "temperamental" snakewood, as Stefan Fink smilingly calls it, fill craftsman and owner alike with pride. An 18-karat gold nib was specially handcrafted for this pen; platinum nibs are also available.
enlarge The ambitious product designer Stefan Fink produced at least four sacks of wood shavings in the course of making this magnificent Swiss pearwood dining table. The silky smooth surface and integrated sliding tea table are an irresistible invitation to make this table part of one's life.
