Gold, a symbol for wealth and power in fairy tales and
myths. "Everything pushes to and everyone hangs to the gold." (Goethe)

the safe-deposit? Or do you use your 800 gram-heavy gold bar as
paper weight? Do you consider an increase in value?
Then you may absolutely be inspired by Dipl. Ing. Robert Guelpen. He
realizes dreams from gold - more exactly: He gives birth to your automobile dreams. From 800 gram pure gold the artist makes
world-wide unique 1:18 scale models.
Naturally it also may be platinum, which is very resistant to air and acids; or
silver, whose smooth surface is the best reflector for light. And
naturally the models can be reproduced in smaller scales, i.e. 1:24, which
corresponds for instance to an object of 20 cm size, or also 1:43,
i.e. a piece of jewellery from approx. 10 cm length. Common to all
models is their highest quality and manufacturing art.
And - if desired - the esthetic
manufactures the windscreens of the object you are longing for
out of rock crystal and the tires of black onyx.
Guelpen documents his most sensitive
fiddling work by photographs during the entire production process for his client. And
his clientele nearly builds up a personal
relationship to his "study of values and priority", poured out of
precious metals. And he won't let it our of his sight - whether deposited in a strongroom or on the desk.

Such posh technology almost cries for a conversion into noblest
materials. And since it should not be the original for reward, it had to be
at least a model true to details, a monument of Swabian
engineering art. Consequently Robert Guelpen first manufactured models for DaimlerChrysler's premium customers. The foundation of
Manufaktur Robert Gülpen Engineering followed hard on it.
This enterprise is specialized in converting automobile dreams into most inspiring small
scale objects of art out of precious metals.

Guelpen
spends about 300 working hours of most precise manual work on the
manufacturing of one of these models. Up to 90 new forms for each
car de luxe have to be built, in order to ensure faith in original details since Robert Guelpen's love
for details is unconditional.

And the topic, which automobile should get a place of honour on the desk,
is inexhaustible, whether Mercedes, Bentley, Jaguar, Rolls Royce,
Porsche, Ferrari, whether the latest model or a classic car. Each model is strictly limited to
50 copies world-wide. However, each object is unique due to
the production system of the "lost form".
Each noble piece of
splendour - only a "GUELPEN" with authenticity certificate - is presented
on a black marble slab and in a special suit-case.
By the
way: Nearly all customer's requests will be considered, even if it
is a matter of a miniature yacht or
airplane.
