Welcome home: you won't want to turn your back on this front door Cat, a picture made with fused glass and glass painting on float glass. Shaping glass by fusing it is the oldest form of glasswork. |
Susanne Wolf
For her, glass painting is the most fascinating way of giving a room shape and atmosphere. "Poetic light and colour" is what the master glass painter skilfully creates on high-quality glass in glass factories in Germany, France and the USA. Susanne Wolf, who has been working as a freelance artist in Kleinweiler in the Allgäu since 1990, is the proud holder of the "Master Prize of the Bavarian State Government".

Susanne Wolf gave this bathroom window a distinctive face with her Andalusian Landscape; the fusing technique she uses also gives the surface of the glass a uniquely tactile structure. |

This window design, entitled African Landscape, is a four-part, south-facing gable window. It portrays the four times of the day: morning, mid-morning, afternoon and evening. Susanne Wolf used glass painting to create this expressive work of art.
