Bagherpur & Windisch is the only company in the world supplying individually designed, perfectly fitted, hand-knotted oriental material for vehicles of any type and furniture.
The Stuttgart-based company was founded in 1999 by the merging of two companies which, at first glance, would appear to be totally different. On the one hand, impulse came from the Soheyla Windisch
Agency for Innovation and, on the other, from the long-standing Bagherpur Company in Aschaffenburg.
The Soheyla Windisch Agency for Innovation specializes in project management consultation for the development of new and existing products,
focussing on the automotive sector and on subcontractors within the vehicle industry. The engineer Soheyla Windisch heads
the agency herself and can look back on fifteen years of experience gained in the research and development departments
of major automobile manufacturers. She is largely responsible for the interior design and development of the Mercedes Vaneo.
The oriental carpet specialists Bagherpur in Aschaffenburg, which boasts more than thirty five years of expertise in this field,
has become a centre for carpet lovers from all over Europe. The company, now in the second generation, is run by Daniel
Bagherpur, whose family has a long history in the manufacturing and marketing of carpets. His father, the engineer Kasem
Bagherpur, coordinates the work in the workshops in Persia and ensures the high quality of Bagherpur & Windisch's exquisite
and unique material.

Bagherpur & Windisch offers a vast selection of colours, wool and silk combinations for every design. "Bearing in mind the multiplicity of possibilities open
to every Bagherpur & Windisch customer in adding that individual touch to his car, his yacht or his plane,
one soon realises that 'individuality' is not a hollow advertising gag, but that customers' dreams really do come true" Daniel Bagherpur explains.
Quite apart from this aspect, it can take a craftsman anything from between five and eight months to complete a set of automobile carpets, depending on the design required.

"Whoever so wishes," the Product Manager continues, "can specify that the pattern on his favourite carpet at home be copied or that his own initials should be incorporated in the design of a carpet for his automobile."

The company's specialist knowledge in making oriental carpets comes from many years of experience at the Bagherpur Oriental
Carpet Company, which has now opened its own workshops in Persia. This is complemented
by the technical know-how of Soheyla Windisch. The graduate engineer assures us: "Thanks to tests carried
out on materials and their application, we are now able to supply
our carpets with a lifelong guarantee."And she continues: "In the meantime, not only manor houses and automobiles
can be fitted with our unique products but also yachts and private
aeroplanes."
