It takes many hours of meticulous hand work at Karin Scholz's studio in Düsseldorf to create one her unique black leather designs. Her aim is simple: to craft the heirlooms of tomorrow.

This baroque armchair is the only one of its kind. Karin Scholz used her signature fine black leather as the "modelling clay" - glued to canvas and artistically moulded with wooden rods. This fascinating object has been imaginatively decorated with a wealth of ornaments
